The MICROPRONY project is organized into 5 interconnected scientific tasks (T1 to T6) based on the scientific objectives previously defined, which will be addressed by integrating multidisciplinary tools either on environmental samples (fluids and chimneys) or on microbial cultures derived from the Prony ecosystem.

This project is funded by the French National research Agency « ANR ». It is an interdisciplinary and international long-terme collaboration between researchers at the Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography, Geoscience Environnement Toulouse, Institut du Globe de Paris, Medis, Entropie, The Stony Brook University.
